Project description
Since June 2024, 80 StopLane — Airfield Barricade Hazard Lights have been ensuring safe and efficient operations on the runway at Munich Airport. These custom-made warning lights from FRIKE offer numerous advantages for use in the demanding airport environment:
- Flexibility: The lights are both solar-powered and battery-operated, providing the maintenance team with maximum independence.
- Long Battery Life: With a runtime of up to 100 hours, the lights ensure prolonged operational readiness.
- Environmentally Friendly: The additional solar module enables autonomous operation, making this solution particularly eco-friendly.
- Reliability: High reliability under all weather conditions and operational requirements.
To protect the lights from transport and storage damage and to maximize their lifespan, we have developed a smart transport solution. The FRIKE transport pallet keeps the Airfield Barricade Hazard Lights in position during transport or storage. Additionally, the lights are automatically recharged via an integrated battery, ensuring they are always ready for use.
